Karen B. McIntyre, R.N. is President and co-founder of Veterans Information Services, Inc. (VIS). She is
accredited by the VA Office of General Council. She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1980 and her
Bachelor of Science in Communication from Kennesaw State University in 1995. Her nursing experience includes both

Over the past few years she has traveled the country educating assisted living facilities, families, and professionals about
VA benefits and has personally helped hundreds of families understand the complicated VA process. Her expertise regarding the VA pension
process has been recognized by many state American Legion and Veteran’s Service offices throughout the country.
She currently manages a Q/A e-mail service with 500 professional members, answering their VA related questions daily, and conducts
comprehensive training programs for attorneys and other professionals throughout the country. In addition, she is co-founder of Veterans
Advocates Group of America (VAGA) and publishes an e-mail newsletter Veterans Family Matters-VAGA News.
Jay McIntyre is Vice President and co-founder of VIS. Having spent 20 years in the corporate world and 10 years as
a private business owner, he brings his business experiences to the company. Jay comes from a military family. His
father spent his career in the Army, serving in both WWII and Korea, retiring as a Lt. Colonel after 20 years. He has
personal experience with the elderly and their care.
His mother lived the last few years of her life with Alzheimer's, giving him first hand experience with what families go
through in coping with that disease. With his wife Karen, also a co-founder of VIS, he has helped hundreds of
Veterans and their widowed spouses understand and obtain VA benefits. He is co-founder of Veterans Advocates Group of America.
About the Company
